Weathercock

Weathercock is the small one: 3 reels, 3 rows and 5 lines, with weather symbols round a golden cockerel on a church spire. Three matching symbols pay, and any 3 of cloud, rain and snow give back the line cost.

Rules

How Weathercock plays

  1. Each spin plays 5 lines: the three rows and the two diagonals.
  2. Three of a kind on a line pay. In Weathercock any mix of cloud, rain and snow (with or without the cockerel) on a line pays 1 times the line cost, a fifth of the spin cost.
  3. The golden cockerel is wild and stands in for every symbol. Three cockerels pay 100 times the line cost, the most this game pays.

The feature

Mixed weather pays

Because any three of cloud, rain and snow count, something came back on 1 spin in 1.5 in our test. The biggest round returned 40 times the spin cost, the smallest top of the six.

Weathercock: a golden cockerel weathervane on a spire, rainbow on one side and a storm on the other
The cover shows a village roof line at the edge of a storm: a golden cockerel weathervane on a green spire, a rainbow on the sunny side, rain, lightning and a few snowflakes on the dark side. The symbols are the weather itself, with the cockerel as the wild.
