Coins and levels

How coins and the vane work

Level Vane has one currency, the coin. Coins are virtual: you cannot buy them, and they cannot be turned into money, prizes or anything else. Below: the 5 ways coins come in, the 1 way they go out, and how the vane counts levels.

Where coins come from

  • 25,000 coins on your first visit, after you say you are 18 or over.
  • 4,000 coins once a day; a new day starts at 00:00 on your device's clock.
  • 3,000 coins when your balance is under 500, at most once every 45 minutes.
  • 1,500 coins for each new level.
  • Wins in the 6 games, listed symbol by symbol on each game page.

Where coins go

Into spins and nowhere else: a spin costs from 5 to 1,000 coins, depending on the game and the cost you set. Free spins in Venetian Carnival and respins in Aurora Fjord and Star Orrery cost nothing, and Level Vane has no shop.

Levels and the vane

Each paid spin adds 1 point, at any cost. Every 40 points is a new level: level 2 after 40 paid spins, level 3 after 80. With each level the vane moves one compass point clockwise and 1,500 coins are added. 8 levels make a full turn, and the turn counter goes up by one.

A level unlocks nothing: all 6 games are open from the first spin.

What coins cannot do

  • They cannot be bought: no page on Level Vane takes a payment or asks for card details.
  • They cannot be cashed out, sent to another player, or swapped for goods, vouchers or other games' currencies.
  • They do not change the odds: a balance of 500 and one of 500,000 play the same maths.

Where coins are kept

In this browser's local storage on this device, and Level Vane receives none of it. Clearing this site's data, opening a private window or changing device starts a new logbook with 25,000 coins. Open Your logbook to see everything stored.
